Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of New Albany is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op, PACU and OR coverage on a PRN basis. You will assess, plan, implement and document patient care, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia teams.

The role emphasizes safe patient care, accurate charting and adherence to policies in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure, BSN preferred, and prior ASC/PACU or critical care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• Experience in ASC/PACU/ICU/Medical Surgical or Telemetry floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per standards and policies.
• Participate in direct patient care in a safe environment.
• Circulator duties in OR: assist surgeons, prepare area, maintain counts and instruments.
• Attend to attendance and schedule adherence.
