Job summary

Orthopaedic-Surgery-Center-of-Ashevill is seeking a Registered Nurse - OR Circulator (PRN) to support perioperative services in a busy surgical setting.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care through preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases, ensuring safety and comfort for patients undergoing surgery. Requires RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications; prior perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Assess and document patient health status to guide care.
• Communicate pertinent information to staff for continuity of care.
• Document clearly in the patient record and sign with professional title.
• Assist in proper preoperative communication and case counting; verify patient identity and surgical site.
