Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a RN OR Circulator/Pre/PACU for the Marietta Eye Surgery Center. The role involves ensuring patient safety in the preoperative phase and assisting supervision of staff in the surgical area.

The nurse will coordinate care with the surgical team, manage supplies for preop and PACU, and document per policy while maintaining aseptic conditions and effective pain management.

Qualifications

• Georgia licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as preoperative nurse or in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care with staff in the surgery suite.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for preoperative, PACU and emergency carts.
• Provides patient explanation and verbal reassurance consistently.
• Identifies changes in the patient and takes immediate action.
• Assesses pain and coordinates pain relief measures as ordered or appropriate.
