Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN Circulator for a full-time position in Cleveland. This role ensures nursing care throughout the surgical process, collaborates with the health care team, and supports patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications include graduating from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, CPR and ACLS certification, and at least 1 year in the OR; orthopedic OR experience is preferred. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
  • Manages monitoring equipment, fluids, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
  • Uses good judgment in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
  • Makes independent clinical decisions regarding patient’s nursing care and communicates to appropriate personnel.
  • Demonstrates a team player attitude and uses work time efficiently.

Job Title:RN Circulator (Full-Time)

General Summary of Duties: Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the Center patient in collaboration with other health care providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
  • Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
  • Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
  • Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
  • Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
  • Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
  • CPR and ACLS required.
  • Minimum 1 years in the OR
  • Orthopedic surgery experience preferred
