Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a qualified RN Circulator (Full-Time) in Cleveland, OH to oversee the perioperative nursing care of patients in collaboration with the surgical team. The role involves monitoring patients through the surgical process, managing equipment and lines, and supporting operative staff.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and CPR/ACLS certification, with at least 1 year in the OR; orthopedic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN license required.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience; orthopedic surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manage monitoring equipment, lines, tubes, drains, and catheters.
• Exercise sound judgment in nursing actions and emergencies.
• Make independent clinical decisions regarding patient care and communicate with team.
• Demonstrate teamwork and efficient use of work time.

Job Title: RN Circulator (Full-Time)

General Summary of Duties: Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the Center patient in collaboration with other health care providers.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
• Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 years in the OR
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred
