Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an RN Circulator to join our operating room team in Ohio. The role carries full-time status and focuses on delivering high-quality surgical nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.

Candidates must hold an accredited Nursing degree with an active RN license, and have CPR/ACLS credentials. Prior OR experience, especially in orthopedic procedures, is highly valued for this opening.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience.
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluids, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Makes independent clinical decisions regarding patient’s nursing needs and communicates appropriately.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilizes work time efficiently.

RN Circulator (Full-Time)

General Summary of Duties

Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the Center patient in collaboration with other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
• Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 years in the OR
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred
