Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake Forest Ambulatory Ventures: Premier Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, assess and plan care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to meet age-appropriate needs.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, NC RN licensure, BSN preferred, with BCLS and ACLS within 1 year; this is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role in a dynamic surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 1 year for applicable units.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/family centered care using the nursing process and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure patient privacy.
• Demonstrate professional practice and participate in governance and ongoing development.
• Perform and maintain competency for point-of-care testing as assigned.
• Advocate for patients throughout the continuum of care and coordinate delivery of services.
