Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse at the Wake Forest Ambulatory Ventures: Premier Surgery Center in North Carolina. This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week and a pay range of $41.10 to $61.65 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Required qualifications include a BSN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), an active RN license, and BCLS. ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required within one year in select areas; supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice required.
• BCLS certification mandatory; ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required within one year in select areas.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience within the past 10 years preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient care respects rights and is culturally competent; maintains privacy and confidentiality.
• Acts as staff and patient advocate to ensure care aligns with expectations.
• Supports quality improvement and policy implementation to improve care and efficiency.
• Promotes safety by adhering to hospital policies and infection control guidelines.
• Audits and maintains clinic metrics for unit and organizational goals.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager on staffing, hiring, and performance management.
• Plans, schedules, and delegates work to optimize personnel, space, and equipment use.
• Maintains unit inventory and supplies; contributes to management reports and budget discussions.
