Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on the Full-Time Second Shift. The Charge Nurse coordinates daily OR activities and collaborates with Preop/PACU to maintain smooth patient flow, while applying the nursing process to each patient in care.

The role requires an ADN, KY RN licensure, ACLS and BLS, plus at least one year of OR experience; leadership and CNOR are preferred. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Kentucky required.
• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within set timelines.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.
• Crisis Prevention certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the Surgery unit as Charge Nurse.
• Collaborate with Preop/PACU to optimize patient flow and throughput.
• Implement the nursing process for each patient in your care.
