Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for the full-time second shift. The Charge Nurse coordinates the daily activities of the Surgery unit and collaborates with Preop/PACU to optimize patient flow. As a RN, you will implement the nursing process for each patient under your care.

Requires ADN, KY RN licensure, ACLS and BLS, plus at least one year of experience. CNOR and supervisory experience preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the Surgery unit.
• Collaborate with Preop/PACU to ensure patient flow efficiencies.
• As an RN, implement the nursing process for each patient assigned to the care.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree

Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky
