Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting - Pre/Post Op OR or Cath Lab required.
• Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.
• BLS and ACLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide professional nursing care for patients.
• Support physicians in the ambulatory surgery center.
• Gather pertinent medical history and provide concise instruction for care.
• Monitor patients for side effects of anesthesia.
• Provide pre-operative and discharge instructions.
