Job summary
The Iowa Clinic is seeking a Cath Lab RN to join our new musculoskeletal-focused ambulatory surgery center in Waukee, IA.
You will provide professional nursing support during diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures, monitor patients, and support interventional radiology as needed.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.
- Certificate in Basic Cardiac Life support and Advanced Life Support.
- Two years nursing experience in an acute care hospital.
- Cardiology catheterization lab experience.
- Ambulatory surgery experience will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Intra-operative patient safety advocate: proper positioning, procedure/site confirmation, time-out participation, and clear communication to physician and team.
- Monitor for improvement or complications; administer medications including conscious sedation and assist the physician.
- Circulating, monitoring, and recording during diagnostic and interventional catheterization; emergency management of cardiac patients.
