UofL Health, Inc. is hiring a Surgical Services Case Cart Coordinator at UofL Hospital in Louisville, KY. This role coordinates the preparation, assembly, and delivery of surgical case carts, ensuring instruments, implants and supplies are ready for scheduled procedures.

You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff to promote efficient OR operations and patient safety, participating in daily huddles and communicating changes promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited technical or vocational program or on-the-job training.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate preparation and assembly of surgical case carts according to surgeon preference cards.
• Ensure instruments, implants, supplies, medications, equipment and specialty items are available for each scheduled procedure.
• Verify carts are complete, labeled, and organized for efficient OR use.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or unavailable supplies and communicate concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and staff to update preference cards and standardize supplies.
• Participate in daily OR readiness activities and daily huddles; escalate issues to avoid delays.
