Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking an OR Care Tech to support surgical services. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under an RN, handle supplies and equipment, and assist in the operating and recovery rooms.

The role requires BLS, high school completion, and preferred technical training with experience in perioperative care. Join a team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• High School or equivalent required.
• Technical program completion or degree preferred.
• 1 year of procedural/perioperative in-patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supplies and equipment; prepare patients for surgery or procedures; assist in the operating room and in the recovery room.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments and sterilizers.
