Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is hiring an OR Care Technician I at Morton Plant. This full-time, non-exempt role supports the surgical team by preparing patients for surgery, assisting in the operating room and recovery, and handling related tasks.

Responsibilities include managing supplies and equipment, cleaning and maintenance of instruments, and performing duties under the supervision of an RN.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in patient care.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and sterilizers.
