Aufgaben

• Set up monitoring equipment in the operating room including ECG, patient monitoring system and anesthesia-related devices.
• Assist in insertion of arterial lines, central venous and Swan-Ganz catheters; collect blood samples for testing; verify ventilator function.
• Calibrate pressures and recording systems to ensure accurate readings.
• Assist in patient transfers and transport data sheets with patients; establish monitoring at destination.
• Clean non-disposable equipment after procedures; perform daily maintenance and stock supplies.
• Move anesthesia equipment between suites and ensure proper connections and gas controls.
• Support age-appropriate patient care across life span and follow department standards.
