Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists by preparing and setting up equipment and supplies for surgical cases. The role involves operating monitoring devices, drawing blood specimens, and maintaining OR equipment to ensure smooth procedures.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, OR experience, and knowledge of sterile technique. Certification as an Anesthesia Technician is preferred.

• Experience in the operating room and familiarity with OR supplies.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and ability to apply it.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in anesthesia team and support of procedures.
• Maintain and evaluate anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for regional anesthesia when needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment to prevent delays or complications.
