Job summary

Nebraska Surgery Center in Lincoln is seeking a dedicated OR Aide/CNA to assist the nursing staff in total patient care within the scope of certification. You may perform non-specialized tasks related to patient care and comfort and assist with OR turnover.

Responsibilities include inventory/restock, patient positioning, and performing standard CNA tasks as required; CPR/BLS is required at hire; Nebraska CNA certification is mandatory. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nebraska CNA certification from a state-approved training course.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in total patient care within scope of certification.
• Assist with inventory and restock as needed.
• Position patients safely and comfortably per patient needs.
• Help turnover of OR rooms.

Nebraska Surgery Center specializes in Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, General, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Dental, Plastic and Cosmetic, Obstetrics and Gynecological, Neuro, and ENT.Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), 8 am – 4:30 pm.This position will assist the nursing staff in total patient care, within the scope of their certification.
