Job summary

Lincoln Surgical Hospital/Nebraska Surgery Center in Lincoln, NE is seeking a CNA/OR Aide to support nursing staff with total patient care in a busy surgical facility. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with 80 hours per pay period.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning, stocking supplies, turning over OR rooms, and performing non-specialized CNA tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nebraska CNA certification from a state-approved training course.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Prefer previous experience in an acute care setting.

Job Location: Nebraska Surgery Center - LINCOLN, NE 68506Nebraska Surgery Center specializes in Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, General, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Dental, Plastic and Cosmetic, Obstetrics and Gynecological, Neuro, and ENT.

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), 8 am - 4:30 pm.

This position will assist the nursing staff in total patient care, within the scope of their certification. The OR Aide may perform non-specialized tasks related to the personal care and comfort of the patients.

• Assist with inventory, and identify items needing to be restocked.
• Safely assist in the positioning of the patient properly, comfortably, and safely according to specific needs.
• Helps with turnover of each OR room.
• May perform standard CNA tasks.
