Job summary

Lincoln Surgical Hospital in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team throughout the surgical experience. You will assist patients with daily care, monitor comfort and safety, and help maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.

Applicants must have Nebraska CNA certification and BLS, with acute care experience preferred. This full-time daytime role includes comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Nebraska CNA certification is required and active.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
• Ambulate and assist patients as directed by nursing staff.
• Safely position patients to ensure comfort and meet individual care requirements.
• Obtain, document, and report vital signs to the appropriate nurse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked patient care environment.
• Replenish supplies and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including standard precautions and proper use of PPE.
• Support the nursing team in delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
