Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an optometric or ophthalmic technician.
• Experience performing visual fields, OCTs, and Fundus Photography required.
• Experience with computers, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the optometrist with procedures and patient care.
• Take patient histories and maintain the patient records system.
• Help patients select frames and demonstrate lens care.
• Repair minor issues with eyeglasses.
• Keep the office organized and prepare exam rooms.
• Test visual acuity, depth perception, intraocular pressure, and pupil reflexes.
