Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exam, performing preliminary testing and measurements, and learning through comprehensive training. No optical experience is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Detail oriented and able to support the Optometrist closely.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history and prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort with procedures during appointment.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for seamless patient experience.
