Total Vision LLC is seeking a friendly, customer-focused front desk/optometry assistant to warmly greet patients, manage appointments, transcribe messages, and support doctors during pretesting, including procedures like blood pressure checks and basic vision tests. The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to build positive patient rapport in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ophthalmic/medical experience a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to greet patients, handle calls, and manage scheduling with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and accompany them to pretesting.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and transcribe messages.
• Perform pretesting including basic vision checks and health history relay.
• Maintain equipment and supply levels for the exam lanes.
• Support doctors with patient flow and record-keeping.
