Job summary

TOTAL VISION LLC in Ladera Ranch, CA is seeking a part-time, hourly team member for front-office and patient pretest duties in our optometry practice.

You will greet patients, handle scheduling, basic pretesting, and assist doctors with records and supplies while maintaining a patient-friendly environment and accurate documentation.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED; prior ophthalmic experience is a plus, and strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Ophthalmic/Optometric/medical industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients and escort them to pretesting.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and transcribe messages.
• Perform pretesting (BP, NCT, color & stereo, autoperimetry).
• Maintain equipment and supplies; assist doctor as needed.
• Order contact lenses and manage inventory.
