Job summary

Walmart associates optometrist delivers evidence-based eye care in a fast-paced vision center. You will partner with the Vision Center Manager to provide routine vision care, educate patients and staff, and coordinate with other professionals to plan patient care.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Current state optometry license in good standing.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and modern instrumentation.
• Experience diagnosing and managing ocular disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications and treatments.
• Deliver routine vision care following established guidelines.
• Educate patients and staff on eye health and contact lens care.
• Consult with other health professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
