Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group in Washington seeks a licensed Doctor of Optometry to perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose eye conditions, prescribe glasses, contacts, and medications, and contribute to the practice's growth by building lasting patient relationships.

You will interview patients, educate them on eyecare options, coordinate with staff, and provide pre- and postoperative care when needed, while promoting eye health and staying current with technology.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose sight problems.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Interview patients to determine health history and visual needs.
• Educate patients on remediation options and coordinate with staff.
• Promote eye health and advise on lens options and coatings.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care when needed and refer as required.
