Acuity Eyecare Group seeks a Doctor of Optometry to perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose conditions and support practice growth through patient education.

The optometrist will build lasting patient relationships, advise on refractive options, prescribe glasses, contacts and medications, and coordinate care with staff. This role emphasizes patient loyalty and high-quality eye care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Licensed to practice optometry (state unspecified).

Responsibilities

• Conducting Eye exams and vision testing.
• Establishing long-term patient relationships through proper care and education.
• Verbal interview with patient to assess health and ocular history.
• Advise patients on remediation options for refractive errors and diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care after eye surgery.
• Promote eye health and proper contact lens care.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to staff and opticians.
