Acuity Eyecare Group seeks an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and educate patients on eyecare. You will support practice growth by building strong patient relationships and counseling on treatment options.

The role includes vision testing, diagnosing refractive issues, prescribing glasses/contacts, and providing pre- and postoperative care as needed. Collaboration with staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and determine patient needs.
• Establish long-term patient relationships with education.
• Interview patients to assess health and ocular history.
• Advise patients on remediation options for ametropias and diseases.
• Explain lens coatings and designs to patients.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery patients.
• Evaluate diseases such as diabetes and refer appropriately.
• Promote eye health through patient counseling.
