Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, educate patients about eyecare, and support practice growth. The role emphasizes building lasting patient relationships, taking thorough histories, and offering treatment options with appropriate referrals when needed.

The optometrist will perform vision tests, diagnose refractive and ocular conditions, and prescribe eyewear, contact lenses, and medications as part of comprehensive eye care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams for patients.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Perform verbal interview to determine health and ocular history.
• Advise patients on remediation options and educate them on eyecare.
• Promote eye health and advise on lens options and coatings.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Prescribe eyewear, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care following eye surgery.
• Identify systemic conditions and refer to other providers as needed.
