Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, assess ocular history, and advise patients on treatment options. You will help build lasting patient relationships through education, deliver vision care, and collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality results.

The role includes prescribing eyewear and medications, providing pre- and postoperative care when needed, and promoting overall eye health to patients and the community.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision testing.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Perform patient interviews to assess health and ocular history.
• Advise on options for remediation of ametropia and ocular disease.
• Promote eye health and provide pre/postoperative patient care.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Communicate best lens candidates to opticians and staff.
