Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations, educate patients, and promote eye health. You will build lasting patient relationships while delivering high-quality eye care aligned with the full scope of your license.

The role focuses on patient education, accurate diagnostics, and collaborative care with staff to ensure outstanding vision solutions and post-operative support when needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Strong patient communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Take verbal patient history to assess health and ocular issues.
• Advise patients on options for refractive errors and ocular diseases.
• Promote eye health and educate patients about lenses and care.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide postoperative care after eye surgery.
• Refer patients for systemic conditions when appropriate.
• Clearly communicate recommendations to staff and opticians.
