Walmart is expanding its vision care team in Morton, IL. As an Associate Optometrist, you will partner with the Vision Center Manager to deliver patient-centered eye care using advanced technology.

You will prescribe and manage medications and treatments, educate patients and team members, and collaborate with other health professionals to develop care plans. The role requires an OD degree, licensure, and EMR/EHR experience.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• EMR/EHR experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications and treatments as indicated.
• Deliver routine vision care and educate patients and store associates on eye health.
• Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans, observing optometry scope of practice per state board.
