Walmart is seeking an Associate Optometrist to serve as the clinical partner to the Vision Center Manager. You will deliver evidence-based eye care, manage patient treatment plans, and coordinate with other health professionals to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced vision center.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from accredited optometry school.
Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
PGY-1 completion in family practice, low vision care, pediatric or geriatric optometry preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based vision care, prescribe medications, and educate patients on eye health.
Perform comprehensive eye exams and determine proper diagnosis and treatment plans.
Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses; interpret diagnostic tests.
Coordinate patient care with ophthalmologists and other health professionals as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records in vision center systems and stay compliant with regulations.
