Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Associate Optometrist to partner with the Vision Center Manager in Monroe, MI. You will deliver routine and specialized eye care, fill prescriptions, and educate patients while coordinating with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

You will lead by example in clinical excellence and community trust, leveraging advanced technology and a patient-centered approach to make eyecare accessible and affordable for all.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• Experience with evidence-based eye care and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications when appropriate.
• Perform comprehensive eye exams and document patient history promptly.
• Educate patients and staff on eye health, contact lens care and safety.
• Coordinate care with ophthalmologists and other health professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulations.
