Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye exams and support practice growth through patient education and relationships.

The role involves taking patient histories, advising on refractive options, prescribing glasses, contacts, and medications, and providing pre- and postoperative care as needed. You will collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality eye care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and perform vision tests.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Interview patients to assess health, ocular history, and visual needs.
• Advise on remediation options for ametropias and ocular disease as well as patient needs.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgeries.
• Promote eye health and patient education.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to opticians and sales staff.
