Responsibilities include vision testing, diagnosing refractive issues, prescribing eyewear and medications, and offering post-operative care and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and perform vision tests.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Interview patient health history prior to examination.
• Advise on remediation options for refractive and ocular conditions.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and refer as needed.
• Promote eye health and discuss lens options and coatings.
• Communicate treatment recommendations to staff and patients.
