AEG Vision in Katy, TX is seeking a Doctor of Optometry to perform comprehensive eye exams and practice to the full capacity of their license, while growing the practice by educating patients and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities include interviewing patients, advising on corrective options, prescribing eyeglasses, contacts, and medications, providing pre- and postoperative care, and collaborating with staff to deliver top eye care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited program.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and establish patient relationships.
• Interview patients to determine health/history and visual needs.
• Advise on remediation options for ametropias and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care when applicable.
• Promote eye health and educate patients on lens options.
