Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the optometrist and deliver a world class Total Patient Experience. You will operate optical testing equipment and prepare patients for exams.

This role requires accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and excellent patient engagement. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word and general office duties is expected.

Flexible schedule with potential weekend shifts; Florida location may involve travel to other EyeCare Partners sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical office or ophthalmic setting preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Operate testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow testing scripts for photos, visual fields, and activities.
• Assist with general office duties and equipment cleaning.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented environment and patient-focused attitude.
• Adhere to schedules, including possible weekend or extended hours.
