Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and display a professional image.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations, including preparing patients and taking medical history.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to ensure accuracy and identify special needs.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant organization of patient records and scheduling procedures.
• Support retention and follow-up calls for appointments and exams.
• Manage contact lens orders, inventory, and the contact lens room.
• Input patient and insurance data into CIAO system with accuracy.
