Job summary

EyeCare Associates, Inc. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the Total Patient Experience by conducting initial testing with optical equipment to prepare patients for exams.

Responsibilities include operating manual and auto-lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field devices, OCT, and maintaining clean equipment while providing outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Prior medical office experience preferred, ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care while supporting the Total Patient Experience.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment and assist with tests.
• Maintain office and examination equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely appointments and patient flow.
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication with patients and staff.
