Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of strong customer service experience.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.

• Ability to work autonomously.
• Knowledge of an office environment.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Preferred: experience in retail and/or optical.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and display a professional image.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients for exams.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; identify special needs.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and coordinates with team.
• Input patient data and insurance information into CIAO system accurately.
• Handle inventory of supplies and maintain the contact lens room.
• Support retail operations as capacity and patient demand allow.
