AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors and deliver high‑quality patient care on site in New York. You will perform pre‑testing, assist with diagnostic testing, manage the doctor’s schedule, and help with medical documentation and patient education.

We value accuracy, HIPAA compliance, teamwork, and strong communication. Required are eye care experience, familiarity with eye treatment terminology, and CPO/CPOA/CPOT certification, along with a High School diploma.

Qualificações

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsabilidades

• Perform preliminary patient evaluations prior to exam.
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule for efficiency.
• Document findings and maintain EHR records.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications or treatment.
• Support contact lens fitting and inventory management.
• Complete end-of-day checklist and duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
