Responsibilities

• Educate patients on insurance coverage and vision benefits.
• Train patients on contact lens use and care.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and verify benefits.
• Post charges for exam fees, co-pays, and products sold.
• Document optometry exams and prescribed follow-up instructions accurately.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow in the office.
