Keplr Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician I to support the optometrist and ensure a flawless patient experience. You will pre-screen patients, gather medical histories, and coordinate scheduling while educating patients on insurance benefits.

Responsibilities include posting charges, training patients on contact lens use, and accurately documenting exams. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential; 1+ year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen patients before they see the optometrist and administer diagnostic tests.
• Gather patient medical history and communicate with doctors, staff, and patients.
• Answer calls, greet patients and schedule appointments; educate patients on insurance and vision benefits.
• Train patients on proper contact lens use and care; obtain insurance authorizations.
• Post charges for exam fees, co-pays, and products sold; coordinate patient scheduling and monitor flow.
• Accurately document optometry exams and list diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.
