Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Team-oriented with a desire to learn new skills
• Detail-focused with accuracy in documenting patient exams and procedures
• Flexible to changing schedules and proactive toward team success

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists in pre-screening, exams, and post-exam follow-up
• Perform diagnostic tests, gather patient histories, and educate patients about vision benefits
• Guide patients in contact lens training, insurance verification, and scheduling visits
• Coordinate appointments and manage office communications for smooth patient flow
• Collaborate with the team to meet individual and collective goals for patient care and satisfaction
