Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in delivering high-quality patient care. You will conduct pre-testing, assist with diagnostic testing, and help manage the patient journey from check-in to checkout, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

The role requires familiarity with eye care procedures and strong teamwork. Full-time on-site position with benefits and a wage range of $20.42–$24.26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams or dispensing medications related to eye care.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Industry certification such as CPO, CPOA, or CPOT is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist.
• Conduct basic pre-testing and assist with specialty diagnostic testing as needed.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with scheduling and managing the doctor’s appointments.
