EyeCare Partners in Hoover, AL seeks an Optometric Technician to support eye exams by performing initial testing with ophthalmic equipment and preparing patients for the Optometrist. You will help deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, manage patient flow, and ensure privacy and accuracy of testing.

The role requires interaction with patients and strong attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning equipment operation, basic office duties, and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Practice urgency at all times placing value on a patient's time, as well as the doctor's time and schedule.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment and assist with exams as directed by the Optometrist.
• Follow scripting for testing equipment and maintain cleanliness of examination tools.
