Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in delivering high‑quality patient care. You will perform pre‑testing procedures, assist with specialty diagnostic testing, and manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient flow and excellent patient experiences.

You will maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system, coordinate referrals, and handle clerical duties while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows; able to manage digital records.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing evaluations and assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Schedule referrals and manage paperwork.
• Maintain patient records in EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Answer patient inquiries and support the Optometrist as needed.
• Operate diagnostic equipment (OCT, Visual Field, Pachymetry, Retinal Camera).
