Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors with preliminary testing and patient preparation. Training and tools will be provided to learn vision care and help deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand/do basic math.
• Personable and patient-focused.
• Willingness to learn optical concepts and processes.
• Healthcare/optical background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history to prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team to provide seamless patient experience.
