Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to help ensure a great patient experience by preparing patients for onsite and remote examinations and performing pre-exam tests.

You will liaise between patients and Optometrists and assist in initial steps of the patient journey. The role includes both in-store and remote support responsibilities, requiring flexible scheduling and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience preferred.
• Optical or Healthcare background preferred.
• Medical office/business professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exams and administer pre-testing; document results in EMR.
• Assist onsite/remote eye examinations and explain testing steps to patients.
• Support remote eye exams: pre-testing, recordings, and teleconferencing.
